Chapter Five
Winter X Games
Part 1: Unintentional Reunion
It's winter ( well, not for LA but you know what I mean ) and the X Games is in 3 weeks.
Dad wrote a permission slip for AJ and I since we have to leave to Vancouver ( ok, I'm not sure where ski resorts are in Canada so forgive me ). The Jonas did the same and they will be leaving the same day as we are. Nick, Joe, Kevin and I have gotten really close. Of course AJ, Alan and Kevin doesn't know about the pranks that Joe, Nick and I did in school.
Now, AJ and I was having a hard time putting our suitcases into the SUV. I have to bring TONS of winter gear for the X Games. I saw the Jonas SUV pull up. Nick got out and ran over to me.
'Whoa, that's a lot of stuff and that's saying something if that comes out from a Jonas lips' Nick said and I rolled my eyes. I picked up about 7 snowboards, 2 extras for practice. Nick came over and help me out.
Alan came out with the last two LV suitcases and load them trying hard to make it fit into the car.
'You have a lot of stuff!' Alan sighed as he close the door. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
I went back in and took my Coach messenger bag from the couch and making sure I didn't left anything. I grabbed the house keys and lock the doors. Nick and Joe gave me a bear hug and I got into the passenger's seat. I buckled up and Alan started driving.
I was sleeping with Hey Monday - Homecoming blasting through my ear phones. Alan took out my earphones and shook me.
'Yo, Alexis! Wake up!' Alan said, still not waking up.
'I'll get her' someone said and block the light.
I felt warm lips pressed mine and I shot up.
I turned around and saw Nick.
'Did you just kiss me!?!' I shouted and Alan and AJ looked as shocked as I am.
Joe and Kevin was still by their SUV with their jaws dropped.
He grinned and walked away. Alan and AJ scramble to kill Nick.
I got out of the SUV and saw a diner. Looks like we're stopping to get something to eat.
I yawned and went in after Joe.
Alan and AJ was glaring at Nick when we were ordering our food.
I was sitting between Nick and Joe. I lean over to Nick.
'Next time, don't try to kiss me to wake me up! I don't want AJ and Alan kicked your ass before I do!' I whispered and he chuckled.
'Trust me, I've been in worst situations before' Nick laughed.
'Hey, have you kissed AJ on the lips before?' Nick asked and Joe was drinking juice but choked when he heard the word "kissed" and "AJ"
'Hmm... I did back in 5th Grade' I replied and Joe choked again. I raised my eyebrows at him and turn back to Nick.
'YOU DID! How was it?' Nick asked. I blushed madly.
'Urghh.. it was REALLY awkward. We were 10 but AJ had a thing for me. It was raining and I had to wait for mum to pick me up. I stupidly waited in the heavy rain and I had a cold. AJ saw me and dragged me into his car. Mrs. Willis gave me a shirt and pants so I won't get sicker. I was sneezing non-stop and AJ was so annoyed that he tried to stopped it by kissing me. Mrs. Willis saw it and pull AJ away. It took us about 2 weeks to start talking to each other!' I explained and we both burst out laughing.
AJ looked at us both.
'Alexis! YOU DID NOT JUST TOLD HIM THAT!' AJ shouted and I turn away.
'No, I told him that you kissed a boy by the name of Dave Cruise' I said and gasped remembering that AJ certainly did that.
'I TOLD YOU THAT IN CONFIDENCE!' AJ yelled and we all laughed.
'Wait, is Dave Cruise the guy who picks his nose in 6th Grade?' Alan asked. I nodded and Alan made a face. We all did and AJ hid his face.
'Oh yeah, you also hit Mr. West in the face with a baseball bat for making you do 100 push ups during our first year in Jr.High!' I said and AJ dugged deeper into his food. We all laughed.
'Shut up Alex before I stuff salmon on your face' AJ mumbled and I rolled my eyes.
'Whatever' I said and went back to Nick and Joe.
Alan, Joe and Kevin paid for our food and we all left.
'Hey guys! I wanna ride with Nick and Joe! ( Don't be surprised that Joe can drive! He just got his driving license two weeks ago if you missed Kevin's speech during the live chat )' I said happily. Kevin threw his keys to Joe and walk over to Alan's SUV.
'Don't scratch it!' Kevin shouted that made Joe, Nick and I laughed.
When we all got in, Joe turned on the radio and We The Kings was playing.
'Let's sing!' I said and the boys nodded.

We all sang and when it's over, Joe honked twice that made Kevin looked over.
AJ glared at me and stick out my tongue at him.
'I guess we have a much better time than AJ is' I said and Joe laughed.
'We sure are. What did you do in the car?' He asked.
'Ask the guy who had to kissed me to get me up' I replied.
'Sleeping? That's so boring' Nick said. I nodded.
'Tell me about it. Where are we anyway?' I asked
'Morgan Hill' Joe replied and I saw a CD.
It says "Jonas Brothers" with the trio's picture on it.
'You guys have an album?' I asked. Nick looked at me weirdly.
'You've NEVER heard of us before?' Nick asked surprised.
'Sorry for mentioning it but no. I've never heard of you guys before' I replied. Joe took the CD out of my hands and played it.

'So you hate our music?' Joe asked sound hurt.
'Don't you go there, Joseph!' I warned. He rolled his eyes.
'Seriously, do you hate our music?' Nick asked after the 30 seconds silence. I sighed and turn to him.
'Hmm... let's see... I'm NOT GOING TO TELL YOU!' I said and both Jonas pout. Gosh, can't they be any childish?
They gave me the silent treatment until we reach west of San Fransisco.
'So Alex, where did used to live?' Joe asked breaking the silence.
'Ohh... he talks' I said sarcastically. Joe shot me a glare through the rear view mirror.
'Downtown San Fransisco' I replied and Joe grunt as if disappointed.
'Why?' I asked seeing as he sounds disappointed.
'I wanted to go through your old neighborhood I guess I can't' As Joe said that I hit him. Making him swerve and Alan honk beside us.
'ALEX!' Nick shouted.
'Course you can! It's not that far from here. I'll call Alan' I said and took out my cellphone.
A few rings later, he answered the phone.
'Alexis Julia! Are you trying to kill Joe and Nick?!' Kevin shouted.
'Sorry, didn't mean too. Can I talk to Alan?' I asked and I heard him giving the phone to Alan.
'What is it?'
'Be happy for me?!'
'What?'
'Please'
'What the hell are you talking about Alexis?'
'I'm rambling! Anyways Joe and Nick wants to go over our old neighborhood. Can we?'
'Well we're not that far. Sure why not. But make sure when you pass Branden's house dodge and cover'
'Will do, Sir'
'Don't call me that'
'But sir, it fits you. Sir Alan Davis James'
'What are you trying to do?'
'Geez... you are no fun. I'm just playing around and you just have to be overly serious'
'Say that again'
'Hahaha No! Drive safely and I love you and AJ. BYE!' I said and hang up.
I hang up and threw it beside me.
'Good news Joseph, Nicholas' I said and saw the sign to my old town.
'Sir Alan James gives us the green light' Once I said that Joe let go of the steering wheel. Making the car swerve and nearly hit Alan's SUV.
Joe straight away put his hands on the wheels. Kevin was pointing at me.
I decided to call him cause I know his pointing the fault at me.
After a few rings later, Kevin answered.
'Don't you dare to point that fault at me, mister'
'So you didn't have anything to do with it?'
'NO! I just told Joe that we can see my old neighborhood and he let go of the steering wheel'
'That's your fault' I gasped.
'WHAT DID YOU JUST SAID!'
'Don't scream over the phone! That hurts'
'Wait, why is Alan going to my school's street for?' I asked when I saw that Alan was not going to use the road to get to our old street.
'Cause I told him too'
'But then I'll pass- SHIT! He did that on PURPOSE!'
'Okay, one, NO CURSING! Two, DON'T YELL'
'Ha! Who's talking! FUCK!' I said when I saw Branden.
'Nick, see the kid in a red hoodies?' I asked and Nick nodded.
'Is he staring at us?'
'Pretty much'
'ALAN YOU ASSHOLE!' I cursed.
'LANGUAGE!' Nick and Joe shouted.
I crawled my way to the window.
I looked at my cell and saw an incoming call.
'Shit, he's calling! Guys shut up for a sec!' I shouted.
Joe and Nick looked at each other.
'But we didn't-'
'Shut it!' I said and press accept.
'Hello?'
'Hey Alex! It's me your boyfriend'
'Ohh... hey'
'So where are you?'
'On my way to Vancouver'
'For your Winter X Games right?'
'Yeah, so what's up'
'I just saw Alan and Jake pass by'
'Pass where?'
'In front of Greg's house'
'Really?'
'He's also with Kevin Jonas'
'Weird'
'I'll say and I just saw Nick and Joe Jonas pass by'
'I thought they said they still in LA' I lied.
'You went before them?'
'Yeah, I did'
'Ohh, you haven't watch E!News have you?' I asked
'I did and the funny story was that it showed you and the Jonas Brothers eating Ice-Cream'
'So?'
'You are in that car are you?'
'WHAT?! That's insane I would never'
'Alexis' He use his serious tone.
I cover the speaker and poke my head a little. Thank god its SUV not a sudan.
'Nick, what is he doing?' I whispered.
Joe saw the cue and pretend to talk to Nick.
'Glaring at us' He said. I bit my lips.
'So where were we? Sorry, I had to-'
'ASK JOE TO STOP THE CAR!!' He yelled. Apparently Joe heard it and stopped immediately. I lock the doors and trying to hide.
'Umm.. Alex, he's coming here!' Nick said sound scared. Not good.
'Joe drive FAST!' I shouted and Joe was about too but someone was standing in front of the SUV.
Someone knocked on my window, I looked up regretting it.
It was Branden and he doesn't look very happy.
I unlock the door and he yanked the door open. He grabbed me roughly and pull me out of the car. Nick came out next. Joe pulled out a wooden bat and hid it behind him.
Branden pushed me into his gang's circle.
'So, this is why you NEVER return my calls?!' Branden shouted. Did I mentioned that he's the jealous type?
'I was really busy, babe' I replied and Branden laughed.
'Busy with those fags?' He shouted.
'EXCUSE ME! THEY ARE MY FRIENDS! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL THEM FAGS!' I shouted angry at the name calling.
'FRIENDS! You forgotten about me!' Branden yelled.
'No, YOU'VE FORGOTTEN ABOUT ALL OF US!' Greg shouted. They were making a ring around Branden and I.
'Have fame made you forgot about your friends?' Branden asked lowering his voice.
Okay, here's the thing, Branden met me on my sixth day in San Fransisco and tried to hit me since. But during the last month before I have to move to LA, we got together. Another thing is that he have a BIG gang. You mess with him, he will mess you back. For example, he's ex-girlfriend dump him because she had feelings for someone else and the next day, the girl wind up in a hospital and the girl's new guy. Gone. So right now, he's trying to do something he will regret or I will regret. Which ever works. I just want Alan and AJ here. NOW!
'I was famous before this!' I replied, folding my arms.
'Yeah, but there's rumors that you were dating NICK JONAS!' Branden yelled.
'You think that's true?! He's the greatest person I've met and yes, his family is the greatest people ever! But you can't believe that I would date Nick! I just met him for two months! AJ will be laughing his ass off if he's here right now!' I said and laughed.
'Who the hell is AJ?' Greg asked. He was standing beside Branden.
'Jake's my twin brother' I replied still keeping my cool. Where the hell are they?!
'How charming' Branden said and came closer to me but I went backwards.
He grabbed my hands and pulled me closer to him.
'So this is the true Alexis James. A liar and a player' He said and the gang cheered.
'I think I know where I should put you'
'What in a hospital bed? Six feet under?' I spatted. Finally saw the real Branden Sage.
'Clever girl but not good enough to save your ass!' He said. I felt a cold metal on my stomach.
A gun.
I gasped and glare at Branden.
'So now I know where Steve ( the guy I told you about earlier ) went'
'Exactly'
'You will be charged for first degree murder and you know that!' I shouted. He just laughed as if it doesn't mean anything.
'Guess what. My uncle work as the Head of the Police in San Fransisco. He knows what I do and yet no action is taken' He replied.
This guys are mad! The most brutal human being ever existed.
'But you know I won't keep my mouth shut right?'
'That's what the gun is here for'
'You are sick!'
He laughed and twirl the gun around his finger.
'HEY!' Someone shouted and Brayden turned around to find Alan, AJ, Kevin, Joe and Nick with baseball bats. As much as I want to thank god for showing up but why on earth are they bringing baseball bats for?
Alan walked forward and I just realize that Brayden was holding a gun and he's holding a baseball bat.'Well, the over protective brother is here and what's this Jake is here too?' Brayden said. AJ glared at him.
'I'm AJ now and I believe you were threatening my baby sister' AJ said.
I glared at AJ.
'Baby? I'm older than you by 70 seconds' I defended.
I saw Alan was dropping something and realize that it was bugs. I almost forgotten that Brayden, the strong,mighty kid is actually afraid of all things bugs and animals.
I smirked and turn to AJ, winking at him.
'Hey Brayden, how much does people pay you to actually kill people?' I shouted. He smirked
and walk around me.
'why do you ask?'
'I'm just curious. I mean a guy like you, at 16, not even caught yet. Seriously,
that's a great skill there' I said.
Alan gave me a signal and I screamed.
'Omg! There's bugs! Get them away from me!' Brayden shouted.
Greg and the rest panicked. They broke up and ran away because
Alan released about a dozen of tarantulas.
'Ok, never expected that to come out from Brayden. I mean Omg? Seriously' AJ said.
I burst out laughing as he ran away.
'Well, let's go, we have a competition to go too' I said and got into the car with AJ, Nick and Joe.
Joe was still laughing when we got into the car.
'Hey AJ, what made you come with us?' Joe asked.
'What? It's against the law now to ride with Alex and you guys?' AJ fought.
'Chill James, I was just asking! Gosh, James are so sensitive' Joe whispered.
'Not all James, are sensitive. I mean look at Alex. She's hard as rock!' Nick joked.
'Oi! You Jonases, really do under estimate us, James, don't you?' I said.
'How can we not? You guys act all tough that it's hard to see you guys cry' Joe said.
'Dude, she cries quite a lot' AJ said and I hit him.
'Don't tell them that! Anyways that's not true. I don't cry, unlike this guy beside me'
AJ glared at me and pushed me.
'When have I ever cry?' AJ
'On your 14th birthday. Your puppy died and you spent all month mourning about it'
'It's a crime to mourn about your puppy?' AJ defended.
'Whatever. Let's just get there as fast as we can' I said and fell asleep.
A/N: I'm done! Awesome! Well there's part 2 so it's going to be more exciting!
Just be patience. I'm even excited to write it but I can't do it now cause I have to go soon. I'm not at home and its nearly midnight.
