Rough Edges

I turned around and saw the general officer.
He walked towards us. He put his cap to his chest.
'Kids, I'm so sorry to announce that,wait, aren't you AJ?' He asked.
AJ scoffed and rolled his eyes.
'Are you trying to announced that I'm dead? You government are really annoying! Seriously. No wonder Alexis came in all wet! You people are so insensitive!' AJ growled.
The general officer was taken aback.
'My sincerely apologizes. You two looked so alike. I should've guessed.'
'And apparently. You don't so it's best you leave and continue your search on Joe' AJ said rudely.
The general officer hesitate and leave.
I turn to AJ and shook my head.
'You are so insensitive!' I sighed and rolled my eyes.
Nick wrapped his free arm around me and kiss me.
'PDA much!' AJ shouted.
I giggle and stuck out my tongue at him.
'You're just jealous cause Nick and I have chemistry and you don''t!' I said and he glared at me.
'Excuse me for pointing out' He huffed and I rolled my eyes.
Someone knocked and we didn't bother to look.
'Umm... AJ? Are you ok?' I was shocked and so was everyone.
It was Gabby.
AJ turned around and got up.
'Gabby! I never thought you would come!' AJ said and gave her a hug.
She playfully hit AJ's shoulders and laughed.
'You're my friend. I was worried about you when I heard the news' Gabby said.
AJ blushed and I fake cough.
*cough * 'Ass' * cough*
Nick glared at me and shook his head.
AJ glared at me and smiled to Gabby.
'I miss you, Gabby. Can we go downstairs where is more PRIVATE' AJ emphasize the last word.
I glared at him and stuck my tongue out.
AJ left with Gabby.
I rolled my eyes and I gave Nick a soft kiss.
'I hope we get discharged soon. This injuries are not serious after all' I said and Nick laughed.
'You're one weird girl' Nick said and hugged me.

JOE POV

When we heard women screaming at the balcony, everyone thought it was an accident but when the waters start coming into the restaurant, we all ran out.
I was panic cause I didn't know where Alexis went. I turn around and saw a big wave about 70 feet coming straight at us.
I ran away as fast as I can away from the waves.
I did managed to get away from it but the waves caught up with me and took me away.
I just closed my eyes and let it pass.
It felt like forever but I hit something hard.
I slowly covered my sight and look around. The waves kept hitting me but I didnt move apart from my back hitting something hard.
I glance my back and saw a black yacht.
I saw a girl was gasping air. I gain my strength and climb the yacht.
My hand grabbed the rail and I push myself forward.
The girl was like guarding something and she moved her hand.
It's a canon camera. She's a photographer?
She looked up and gasped when she saw me.
She then looked at her camera and start to see if it functions properly. And it was.
She smiled and hugged it.

'Umm...hi?' I greeted.
She stood up and wipe the camera's lens.
'Hi I'm Sam Williams. I go to the same school as you do' She greeted and smiled.
I smiled back.
'I'm Joe Jonas...you already knew that...where are we exactly and what happened?' I asked.
'I was taking some photographs and there was a huge wave struck my crew and I. I suppose its tsunami...I'm just glad to be alive' Sam explained.
I looked around us. There's nothing but ocean.
'But where are we?' I asked. She shrugged.
'Let's go to the control room and check if the radio still works...' Sam said and lead me to the control room.

When she open the cabin's door.
A strong foul smell swept us like death.
I looked around and saw the captain and its crew bloody and gone.
I covered my nose and mouth with my torn sleeve.Sam did the same.
'It's somewhere around here...( she moves some crew's dead hand and check if it works ) wonderful!'
'This is Will Fawcett 187 calling station 523 Shark. My ship crew and friends has been struck by a tsunami... we need to know the status of our location'
There was a loud buzzing noise.
'Station 523 Shark. Captain Reids speaking. Please tell us your status'
'My crew and I has been struck by a tsunami... we don't know where we are'
'WF 187, the safety guards and the FBI are on their way. Shoot the emergency flare and we'll know your status'
'Captain Reids... what is your status?'
'Station 523 Shark is stationed at the the ______________ Island. We won't be long. Just hold on'

Sam tossed me the radio and went to the emergency cabinet. She found a metal rod and smash it on the glass. She grabbed the emergency flare.
She ran outside and shoot it.
There was a red flare surrounded the yacht.
'You're so calm...' I said. She grinned.
'Been to these kinds of situation before and that means...I have more safety gear below...( She went down the stairs and bit her lip ) we need flashlights' She said.
She ran near by the one of the controls and kick the dashboard. It popped out and revealed extra emergency flares, flashlights, food, mineral water bottles and radios.
She grabbed the flashlights and toss me one.
'The adventure now begins!' She said excitedly and walk downstairs.
I was behind her.
She went to the first room.
'Where did I put that safety jacket?... These things are so impossible!' She cursed and start kicking cabinets.
I flinched and flash my torchlight across the room.
Everything was thrown across the room and there was tons of broken glass on the floor.
'Where is that safe?....( Sam hit the wall and then her feet broke into the wall ) Found it... 488259384 ( then the door clicks ) YES!'
I looked around the walls and saw some picasso paintings.
Sam took out two duffle bags and toss one at me.
I caught it and open the bag.
There was a life jacket, a gun ( What am I going to do with a gun? ), a knife ( Safety? ), a parasuit ( Why is there a parasuit in this bag? ), water bottles, pills ( For food? I thought people used that in outer space or something ), Oxygen tanks ( not the big ones, the small one ) and some other things which i have no idea what its for.
I looked at Sam.
'What?' She asked. Her torchlight in her mouth.
'Why do we need all this?' I asked
Sam rolled her eyes.
'Idiot rock stars!' She whispered.
I heard her and I rolled my eyes.

After a few hours waiting for a heli.
Sam and I was on our way to Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
We weren't far from Santa Barbara in the first place.
Sam was asleep beside me.
Gosh after everything we went through today,
I just realize that she is so gorgeous.
Her blond hair was so soft and smell like daisies.
'Mr. Jonas. We are here' The pilot said.
I hesitate to wake her up.
'Sam...sam...(no movement) Samantha! We're here!' I said.
She groaned and rubbed her eyes.
'That was a great dream....spoiler!' She said, totally annoyed.

The helicopter landed on top of Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
When we got out, there was two beds and bunch of nurses.
One nurse told me to lay on top of the bed.
I just obeyed.
'Is the Jonas or James here?' I asked.
'Yes, they are all here'
I was relieved.
Everyone is here. That means I was the last person.
I hope everyone is safe.

Fast forward to three weeks

Alex's POV

I was playing soccer and focusing hard on scoring the first goal of the first season.
That's right I'm on the soccer team.
If I win the game tonight, I'll get to go to Varsity Soccer.
I tricked my defender and focused on the goal.
I kicked the ball super hard and everyone was silent.
It hit the net after several long moments.
The team ran to me and pulled me in a hug.
The whole crowd was cheering.
I'm a varsity soccer player!
After the intense hug. I looked at the stands and saw the Jonas, Alan and Savvy cheering.
This is so awesome.
I have the greatest people and one of the great players.
Life so far is great.

After I showered, I went to Nick's car.
My hair was still wet from showering at the locker room.
'Hey babe' He greeted and kiss me.
'Hey handsome' I said and buckled up.
'So you're now a pro skater/varsity soccer player/pro athlete/guitarist/model wow..not bad' Nick joked.
I rolled my eyes and turn on the radio.
Time is running out by Muse was playing.
I started to sing along.

' Bury it I won't let you bury it, I wont let you smother it, I wont let you murder it, our time is running out,our time is running out, you cant push it underground..' I sang and Nick laughed.
'Muse huh?'
'Yep! They are my new fave band' I purposely said that.
I saw a flash of jealousy.
'Oh, really? What if I put Muse sounds into my new album?' He said.
'That's not nice, Nick. You can't steal people's work'
'You're so pretty tonight' He changed the subject. I rolled my eyes.
'You look fugly tonight' I commented and his face drained from blood.
Torture.
'OMG! That guy looks so hot! Isn't that Colby from the Varsity Football team?' I said as I saw Colby stretching and nodded at me. I honk and bit my lip in a flirty way.
I turn to Nick.
He was fuming and was having a death grip on the steering wheel.
I pissed him off. Awesome.
I rolled down my window and saw a couple of seniors.
I wolf-whistled and they all smirk and waved.
'PARTY AT MY HOUSE ALEX!' Fred shouted. Fred is the man-whore.
Nick completely loathe that guy.
I smirked.
'IS NICK JONAS INVITED?' I shouted.
They shook their heads.
'Aww...GUYS HE'S MY BOYFRIEND!'
'TELL HIM TO QUIT DISNEY THEN MAYBE WE WILL INVITE HIM!'

I laughed.
We reached to my house.
I got out and behind me was a fuming jealous Nick.
I open my door and Nick slammed the door shut.
Alan was watching a baseball game.
'Yo, what's up with you?' Alan asked.
Savvy was a hardcore baseball fan. Especially the Red Sox.
'Ask her'
'Huh?'
'She's hitting everyone on the football team!' Nick growled.
'Alexis... Nick just got you back. Stop torturing the poor guy!' Alan said.
I bashed my eye lashes.
'But..they are so delicious. I mean Nick your hot but those footballers are much hotter. You're just rock stars hot they are footballers hot'
'Good to know that I'm appreciated. So are you going to the party?' Nick asked.
He did this on purpose!
Alan shot his head at me.
'What party?'
'The party that the sophomores are invited too'
'You mean the ones that all the varsity athletes go too...that FRED LUKEMAN will be at?' Nick said and I send a death glare at him.
Alan frowned.
'You know those parties are off limits!' Alan said.
I rolled my eyes.
'Sorry, DAD! But I'm 16 for fuck sake! Its like any other party I used to go before I met this Disney jerk' I said and pointed at Nick.
He gasped.
'I'm assigning AJ on this since Nick can't go' Alan said.
AJ came in with a bagel on his mouth.
'Someone called?' He asked.
'Go to Fred Lukeman's party with me tonight. Apparently I need a chaperon!' I said.
'Sure... I need to relax from all of this' He pointed to Nick and Alan when they weren't looking.
'Sweet. Bye Nick... I need to get ready' I said and jog to my room.

Fred's Party.

AJ was driving a red porche up to the driveway of Fred's driveway.
There was every teen from school swarming the driveway.
I was wearing a gold and black sequin dress and black tights with some hot red pumps.
I bit my cherry red lips and flipped my now curly hair.
Tonight. I'm going to swoon all the seniors.
AJ was wearing a wife beater and a black leather jacket. Classic but it made girls around us giggly.
All the boys wolf-whistled to me.
Awesome. Going well.
Let's just say AJ looks like Zac Efron and I look like some hot celeb.
I went in and lost AJ immediately.
I went to the kitchen.
They were having shots.
Alan would kill me but dude, its been the roughest year ever.
I haven't even been to any parties since I moved. Crazy. Yes.
I took one glass and drink up.
Its not even 10 yet so I might continue my shots later.

I walked around and saw Fred.
He walked over me.
'Hey Alex. Looks like someone ditched her boyfriend' Fred said and I laughed.
'Well you kinda have too... he's not into these kinds of parties'
'Well duh, he's disney. They brainwash you. Being so innocent and all' Fred said and I rolled my eyes.
' Looks like someone is not into disney'
'i'm 18, Alex. Disney is way off my list'
' Of course. A senior is too afraid to admit to a sophomore'
'Maybe we'll go somewhere private and I'll admit more'
'No, thanks... anyways seen Colby?'
'He's by the swimming pool' He said and I kiss his cheek and left.
The music got louder.
I saw Colby goofing off.
He saw me and smiled.
'Hey. Nice seeing you here' He said.
I smirked.
'Well, its a night to celebrate. I mean I did managed to get into the varsity soccer team' I said.
'well well well, congrats. So you're officially a pro athlete! welcome to the club'
'Thanks... I miss parties so wanna help me celebrate them?'
'sure. I'm able to celebrate with a hottie of the night. Its time to get my game on' He said.
I laughed. Interesting.
'Let's dance then!' I said and pulled his to the living room.

After spending a great 10 minutes, we were both worn out.
He went to get me drinks and I saw AJ making out with Gabby on the couch.
I rolled my eyes and I someone wrapped an arm around my waist.
'Here's a drink for you. I hope disney boy didnt brainwash you. You're up for booze right?'
'Duh, I used to go to parties mister'
'Awesome. A wild child huh?'
'Yep'
'Let's go outside'
'Sure'

He grabbed my hand and took me by the pool.
They was a couple of people playing in the pool.
I sat down at the lounger and Colby sat beside me.
'So why isnt Nick here?' Colby asked as I took a swig of my drink.
'He's popular remember? Seeing him at this party would kill his career' I said and drink again.
The stinging liquid drowned and I looked around the pool.
'So do you have curfews?'
'No... but if my twin leaves that's my cue. He's my ride and chaperon' I laughed.
'How bout you run to your twin and tell him that I'll drop you to your house?' Colby said.
'I think my bro won't like it. He play dad at home' I said. Colby leaned and kiss me.
'Please?' He begged and made a puppy face.
'Fine...' I said and went to AJ.

'Yo AJ!' I said and he turned around.
'Yea sis?'
'I'll go home with Colby is it ok?'
'Let me talk to him first ok?...brb' he said and dragged me to Colby.
'Hey man. Alex told me..under the freaking rule of Alan, don't drug her,don't rape her or anything that the cops think other wise. She already have a record' He said. Bored. I glared at him.
'You should really ignore the record part...i dont need reminding' I said sweetly and pushed him away.

After spending hours making out, drinking and dancing.
I begged Colby to take me home.
I was practically drunk.
I turn the radio on and Breaking Benjamin was playing.

I started singing .
'Something is getting in a way
Something just about to break
I will try to find my place
In the diary of jane
so tell me how it should be..' I sang and noticed Colby was smiling at me.
I smiled back.
The car stopped and I got out of the car.
Nearly stumbled on the pavement.
Colby rolled down the window.
'See ya at school on monday!' He yelled and drove off.
I rang the door bell.
'Who is it?' I heard Alan's voice.
'I...its me' I said and the gate opens.
I walked up the driveway and saw a fuming wanna-be-dad by the door.
He was folding his arms and glaring.

'Alexis Julia James! Its 3.30 am and are you wasted?' Alan asked.
He was yelling. This isn't going to end well.
'W..what? Co..urse not... Im just-'
I vomited on Alan and passed out.
Wow.

The next morning.

BEEEPPPP!
I yelped and panicked.
I fell got up and grabbed my baseball bat.
I saw Alan with a blow horn.
I groaned and put it down. He was glaring at me.
'So had fun yesterday?' He asked. I can hear the venom in his voice.
'Uhh.... fantastic?' I replied.
Suddenly my head was heavy and painful. Like I was hit by a train or something.
'Looks like the hangover finally hits the toll' He said sweetly.
'What you want?' I asked and climb back into bed.
'Since you were pretty rude to Nick yesterday, I want you to clean your room. It looks like a tornado pass through! GO GO GO!' He said and blow the blow horn again.
I groaned.
My head fucking hurts and he kept blowing the blow horn. Asshole!
He pulled my arm and pushed me in to the shower.
The shower was freaking cold.
He literally pushed me like me and my clothes in.
I shrieked and I heard the door close.
That bastard!

After dressing up, I went downstairs to get aspirin and breakfast.
I saw Nick and Joe at the counter.
Nick glared at me.
'Hey guys' I said.
'Alex can I talk to you' Nick said.
Joe was spraying cheese in his mouth.
'Alone' He glanced at Joe. Joe ran to the living room.
I swallow the aspirin and turn to him.
'Why did you do what you did yesterday?' He asked.
I glance down.
'I'm sorry... I love parties and knowing you weren't able to go was hard. So I had to torture you' I explained.
I thought he would kick my ass to New Zealand but instead he pull me into a near hug.
'Forgiven. I'm just glad you didn't slept with Colby' He said and kiss me.
'Umm.. you're a weird boyfriend'
'You're an evil girlfriend'
'You stink'
'HA! says the girl who puked on her brother at 3.45 am!'
'Your hair is messed up'

'THAT'S HOW I FEEL WHEN I SAW YOU WERE MAKING OUT WITH GABBY!' I shouted.
Nick laughed.

The search for Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Alex James and Alexis James is still in process.
The devastating news that hit the Jonas and the James family was a week ago when they were announced that Joe,Nick, Alex and Alexis was hit by a massive wave. along with the rest of 35 missing people.
It seems like Nick and Alexis was in the ocean when the wave hit.
It was said by the investigators that they were pulled by the strong current and unable to make it back to shore.
The marine and navy is looking out for them at sea.
The investigators told us if there's any sign of them anywhere. Please contact
1 800-RESCUE-TEAM immediately.

Now another breaking news
The New President Obama has been tested with another difficulty that is the tragic tsunami that struck-

Alan POV


'Alan, turn off the god damn TV!' Mom shouted. I sighed and turn the plasma off.

It's been a week since Alex,AJ,Joe and Nick had gone missing since the tsunami hit a small part of Malibu. I was so angry at myself cause I wasn't there for her.
I know its not good to question the god's power when it comes to fate.
But somehow, I think god was being mean to me.
I was in charge of AJ and Alexis and the tsunami happens to hit the part of Malibu where they were at.
I'm really am shocked when two police officers came by the house that night.
Kevin, Frankie,Denise and Paul was devastated.
Their two sons are out at sea and probably dead side along Alexis and AJ.
Denise is being very strong and apparently so is mom. I really admired their strength but Dad isn't cause he's the emotional one in the family like AJ and Alexis are.

I stood up from the sofa and went to the kitchen to get more coffee.
It's not easy for any of us these past week.
The police are always over here to give us updates.
Dad hired tons of Spy companies to help the Navy and Marines search for them.
I don't mind cause I have an appointment with one of the greatest spy in the world.
It's Kim Possible. Yeah, she's real but she's a hell lot hotter and hell out smarter.
What's more her sidekick isn't Ron Stoppable its Evan McGregor!
Ok, I'm just exaggerating! This part is getting really tragic for me.
The girl name is Gretchen Louise, 25 years old, a pro and hot. Done.

I locked my bedroom and gave her a cup of coffee.
'So Gretchen, are you up for the job?' I asked as I sat down on my chair.
She was sitting at my bed.
'I don't mind but i kinda need payment' She said.
'K, what is it?'

'A kiss? Umm.. Okay. Wait, is this normal?' I asked. I don't Savvy to open the door and see me kissing Gretchen.

Once we stopped, she shook my hand and left using my window.
'Thank god' I said and went back down to see a navy talking to mom and dad.

'We managed to find their bodies by the Gulf of Mexico . Apparently there was sea turtles
so Nick and AJ are safe. They are at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital getting checked. However, we did not managed to find Joe and Alexis yet' He said. I sighed in defeat.
I mean its great to know that AJ and Nick is safe but Alexis and Joe are still out there.
'Didn't you said that Nick and Alexis were in the ocean when the tsunami hit?' Mom asked. She was really worried.
'Yes, I did so I had send men to station at Mexico and Texas to make sure we find her but Joe wasn't any where close to any of them during that time. So, he could be anywhere' He continued.
Denise was in tears and she gripped her husband's hand.
'Sir, if you are unable to find them. What would happen?'I asked.
'We will wait for a few months but if nothing comes up then we have to drop the case'
'HOW CAN YOU THAT!? THEY ARE OUR CHILDREN!' Mom shouted. She was devastated that they couldn't find Alex.
I was too but I'm holding everything in. I saw Savvy came in and I went to her.


The both of us went into our bedroom ( she moved in after she heard the news ),
Savvy looked at me and hold my hand.
'What did he said?'
'Nick and AJ was found in the Gulf of Mexico but..' I was unable to say it.
Savvy pulled me into a hug and I started crying.
If I lost Alex I don't know how my life would be.I can't be that over protective brother anymore.
Savvy just hold on me as I cried.
She is the only girl I will ever give my permission to see me break down
in a crisis.
'Alan, they will find them. She'll be alright and she'll always need you to protect her even more' She said softly. One of the great things about her.
'What if they find her too late, Sav? I can't let that happen, I can't' I cried on her shoulder even more.
'Don't ever say that! You have been a wonderful brother to her and she'll make it through. She's a strong girl, Alan, she'll make it. She's build for survival. Remember when she got lost in the forest during her Skate Camp back in 04? They didn't found her until October and she survived. She was only 11 then and she survived the horrible weather. Trust me, even a hurricane can't slow Alexis Julia James down' Savvy said and gave me a kiss.
' You are great at lifting my hopes up' I said and I pulled her into a hug.
'I know that sweety that's why I'm here' she said and got up.
'So we should visit AJ and Nick seeing as AJ is still your brother!' Savvy said and went to the closet. She took out a white wife beater and a black leather jacket.
'Come on!' Savvy said and threw the clothes at me.
I laughed and changed quickly.


Savvy practically dragged me downstair.
We heard mom was bawling at the kitchen so we had to come over.
'Mom is everything okay?' I asked. She shook her head.
'AJ's is gone...' She choked and I literally dropped.
My only brother is gone? His gone?
Alexander Jacob James is gone?
If Alexis finds out, she'll be devastated!
Savvy was holding the kitchen counter and cried.
I looked up at dad and his eyes were red.
It wasn't long ago when he re-joined the family and now he's gone?
I covered my mouth with my hands and my tears starts to flow like a river.
Denise, Paul and Kevin all held us.

Alexis POV

I woke up to find myself at a shore. I have no idea where I am but I got up and look around.
It was like a deserted island but why is there a small town up ahead?
I walked at the nearest beach house and knock on the door.
I must have drifted away when the tsunami hits.
I wonder what happens to Nick.I didn't see him at the beach.
I was worried but I didn't get that get me.

The door opens to reveal a tall woman with straight red hair.
'May I help you?' She asked
'I was wondering, where am I?'
'You're in Miami'
'MIAMI?!? How did I get here from LA?!' I asked, I was totally shocked.
'Mum, I'm leaving for the skate's champs' A girl said and she stopped when she saw me.
She was holding a skateboard.
'You're Alexis James!' She shouted. Her mum looked at her then to me.
'You know her?'
'Mum, she's the missing girl from the Malibu's tsunami!'
'She is?! OMG please come in!' She said and pulled me inside.
'Where do you live?'
'Beverly Hills'
'Family?'
'I have two brothers and one of them is my twin brother'
'School?'
'Beverly Hills High'
'Where we you when the tsunami hit?'
'I fell in the ocean when my brother pushed my boy friend. We got drifted away from the shore and the both of us failed to go back to shore since the current was pulling the both of us back'
'I see...'
'My mum is an agent at the CIA and she's actually helping out the Navy and Marines to find you' The girl said.
Her mum looked at her.
'Don't you have a skate champ to go too?'
'Oh right! Bye and love you mum!' She said and left.
'You have a nice daughter there'
'Her role model is actually you. She wasn't even interested in skating until she heard you were dating Nick Jonas. Funny how kids these days are'
'I guess that got around'
'It was obvious truthfully. You were hanging out with the Jonas a lot'
'That's because they are family friends so we love to spend time together'
'That's really wonderful. How bout you stay here for awhile. I have to make calls at the agency'
'Alright then' I said.

After a few hours later, CIA came and called the ambulance to do a check up.
'So Casey, what time did she show up at your doorstep?'
'Round noon. She remembered everything. When can we send her back to LA?'
'I have to talk to the Commander in charge at Mexico and Texas station. Make sure she's well fed and healthy'
'Alright'
'I need to speak to her for awhile'

He came over me.
' We found Nick and AJ at San Paulo today'
'That's great! Who else gone missing?'
'Joe. I just received a call about your brother'
'And..?'
'He passed away at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital an hour ago'

I was standing awhile ago but now I was crying on the floor.
'Geez, Mike! She just realize that she got drifted miles away from her home! Don't you think she's still mentally shocked? How could you just give out bad news like that!'

I was devastated that I wasn't with AJ at the time.
He needed me. My twin brother needed me and I wasn't there for me.
Now he's lying in the hospital bed, dead.
I shouldn't have agreed to go out just to get Alan's watch.
In the end, I didn't get it.
I'm such a fool.
It was bad timing. Everything was bad timing.
The place, the time AJ pushed Nick and I into the ocean, Joe, Nick, Me and just everything.
I finally gripped myself and stood up.
'Take me to LA now!' I command.
'We need to inform the-'
'I don't care who the hell you need to inform your status too. If you haven't notice fat head, that my twin brother is dying and I need to get to the hospital. Asap'I snapped.
'Mike, just take her. I'll do your report and do it before I call Stacy' The lady said.
'You're threatening me by using Stacy's name?'
'I will not hesitate to tell her what you did in New Jersey' She warned.
He glared at her and dragged me to his car.
'You're just lucky that I happens to have-'
'A secret affair that you wife doesn't know about?
Yeah pretty much' I said and fold my arms.
'How do you know that?' Mike asked.
'I'm happens to be a girl who knows to read the signs. Now move!' I said and he drove the car to the airport.

'Let me talk to the stewardess' He said and walked up to the counter.
'More like seduce...' I mumbled and saw a twin nearby.
One is a boy another was a girl. They look very similar and they were fighting.

'Julia [ funny... ]! so how was granny's?' The guy asked.
His sister glared at him.
'Horrible' Julia said and he laughed.
'How was Aunt Celia, Jacob? [ weird... ]'

'I wanted to go! Heard something happened to her'
'Yeah, I hope she's - Is that her?' Jacob suddenly looked at me.
The both of them started to walk towards me.
'Aren't you Alexis James?' Jacob asked.
'Yeah, I am' I replied.
'What happened to you?' Julia asked.
'Got struck by a tsunami'
'You're fine?'
'Yeah, funny really and what's funnier is to watch you guys'
'Why?' Jacob asked.
'My twin brother is in the hospital and possibly dead. Also the both of you have both of our middle names'
'We didn't know you had a twin brother'Jacob said.
'No one did but we all found out. He was my best friend Jake Willis another skater' I explained.
'Jake!? He's my favorite skater!'
'Now he goes by Alex James..but then we would get missed up so we decided to call him AJ'
'OH! Its the guy with brown and purple highlights?'
'That's the one'
'Is he going to be okay?' Jacob asked.
'I hope so. My chaperon is here. See you guys later' I said and waved.

'Managed to get your tickets. There will be a police escort to the hospital from the airport'
I nodded and went into the plane.
A few hours trying to hold my tears in was the greatest torture of my life.
It's bad enough to find out about your dead twin but to hold it in is worse than losing your heart.
You feel like you've lost everything and anything about yourself.
I saw the sun was setting in the horizon and just look out of the window the whole ride.
If only I knew AJ was my brother, I would've been the over protective one.
I know I've been in his life the entire time but I treat him like a best friend.
Everything was so perfect then.
I just want him, Nick and Joe to be safe.
I survived after being drifted half-way cross the ocean.
I just hope they would too.
The captain announced to wear our seat belt on as we are about to land.
I got checked and went out from the check point. I was looking for an officer holding up my name but didn't found any.
I sighed and decided to take a cab to my house.
Forgetting that I lost my money when the tsunami hits, I left a mental note to ask mum for money.

When the cab stops, I told him to wait while I ask mum for money.
I walk up towards the driveway and saw everyone, Jonas and James was in the living room
all worn the same death facial faces.
I knocked on the door and it was Frankie who look up.
'Mummy! It's Alexis!' Frankie shouted. Alan's head shot up and ran towards me.
'Alex! How did you get here?!' Alan asked, he was dead worried. Typical him.
'Long story... can someone pay the cab?' I asked and Kevin went outside.
'Have you heard that...'
'AJ died? Yeah, the officer told me... can we go to the hospital together?' I asked.
Savvy came to me.
'You need to get clean first, my love. Let's go' She said and went up with me to my room.
'When did you heard about AJ?' I asked as I search for Nick's white wife beater and some shorts.
'Yesterday. Alan didn't take it very well so was dad' She replied.
I sighed and went to the bathroom.
I could've screamed at myself.
I looked like some wild girl with torn and messed up.
I took a very short shower and hair dry my hair.
I wore Nick's white wife beater and khaki shorts.
I slipped my flip flops and went downstairs.

Kevin gave me a tight hug.
'I'm so glad the golden child is safe' Kevin said.
I raised my eyebrows in question.
'Is there any news about Joe yet?' I asked. He shook his head.
'Can we go now?' I asked and everyone started to move.
I sat at the back of Alan's car with Kevin.
Kevin looked so distant and quiet.
That's not like him, he's always talking about stuff.
'Alexis, where did you know end up?' Alan asked.
I shift my weight and looked at Kevin.
'Miami' I replied and Alan nearly hit the traffic light.
'ALAN!' Kevin scolded.
'Miami? Thats so fucking far away' He shouted and nearly hit a truck.
'Fuck Alan! Let me drive the god damn car!' Kevin said angrily.
'I CAN HANDLE IT JONAS!' He shouted and managed to get to the hospital.
We all got out.
'DRIVE LIKE THAT AGAIN AND I SWEAR I'LL MAKE THE FUCKING COP TAKE AWAY YOUR LICENSE!' Kevin shouted.
'What the fuck is up with you?!' Alan shouted. Annoyed.
'Your brother just died so I don't plan to die on a road accident!'
'Who asks you too?! Just fucking go away Jonas!' Alan shouted.
I looked at Kevin. He was hurt.
'ALAN! STOP IT YOU ARE BEING RIDICULOUS! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!' I shouted and pull Kevin in with me.

'I'm sorry' I said.
'What for? It wasn't your fault that you brother is a dick' Kevin said. He was staring at the ground.
'Kev, I'm sorry for what he said. He's been your best friend since diapers and it's wrong for me to intrude like that when it comes to your friendship' I said.
'Wait, what? Alexis none of this is your fault. Please don't think it is, the both of us just got shocked with everything that's been going on lately. Alan was afraid to lose you and AJ. I was afraid to lose Nick and Joe. Everything was a huge shock for us. Let it lay low for awhile' Kevin said and I sighed.
We were standing in front of AJ's room.
I held my breath and open the door.
He was laying in bed with a white sheet over him.
I started to shake furiously.
I walked over and pull the sheet down.
I gasped.
It doesn't look like AJ.
There's no way a tsunami can damaged or changed the way he looked.
His purple highlights are not there.
His scare on his cheek is not there.
If his eyes are open, it will not be green.
I know instantly that this is not AJ.
My heart was yelling out that its true. This is not AJ.
I looked at the doctor.
'This is not Alexander Jacob James!' I said angrily at the doctor.
'Alexis, look carefully...its him..its AJ' Kevin said quietly.
I shook my head furiously.
'No! AJ have purple highlights and a scar! The waves could not remove any of those!' I shouted.
'Wait....did you said Alexander Jacob James?' The doctor asked.
I nodded. I put my hand in front of my lips.
I was praying that it's the wrong AJ.
My heart was definitely beating faster for it.
'He is in room 699. Two story's above' The doctor said and I ran out.

I knew it. AJ is alive.
I hope he doesn't kill me.
It's his fault for stalking!

I passed everyone at the waiting room and ran into the open elevator.
I pressed level 6 and when the door opens, I sprint to room 699.
I immediately open the door and saw Nick and AJ.
Nick was sleeping but AJ was streaming through channels.
He looked up from the TV and saw me.
'Alexis! OMG, I missed you!' AJ and he stood up.
He only had a cast on his right arm.
I ran and gave him a hug.
'I missed you too and don't tell me you broke your arm?' I asked, looking at the cast.
He nodded and released me.
'How's Nick?' I asked and sat down next to AJ.
'He's tired. He practically saved my life. Even though I'm a great swimmer, I wasn't able to wrestle the strong current. I nearly drowned but Nick saved me. He was on a broken piece of wood and he dragged me up to it. We saw land and we both paddled towards shore. The rest is history' AJ explained.
I gave him a warm smile.
'I'm just glad to find my brother alive with a broken arm' I said and give him another hug.
'Speaking of which. How bout you? Your face needs stitches' AJ asked.
'I was drifted to Miami. I knock on someone's door and it appeared to be some CSI agent who is working for our case. She called some agent whose in charge of you and I was send to the airport after I heard the news. I took a cab home and begged Alan to send me here' I explained.
He smiled and kiss my cheek.
'I missed you sis...' He said and we both sat like that for ages until we heard stirred.

I looked at him and walked over to his bed.
He sit up and smiled when he saw me.
'Alexis...god, you look horrible!' Nick said and I chuckled.
'You don't look bad yourself. With 12 stitches and a broken arm' I joked.
He rolled his eyes and traced my scarred face.
'Shouldn't you get this stitched? It's bleeding again' He whispered. Loud enough for anyone to hear.
'And she should. Alexis, please go and check your wounds' Mum's voice said and I turned around.
She stood at the doorway with her arms crossed.
'But mum, I'm fine. This is just scratches' I said and she shook her head.
Nick touched my hand.
'No, this wounds is pretty deep and you have to let them stitch it up. Your beautiful face will be scarred' Nick asked. I looked at his brown eyes. He was begging me.
I sighed in defeat and kiss Nick before I leave.
Alan dragged me to the examine room.
A female doctor with blonde hair in a ponytail came in.
A nurse not older than Kevin's came tagging behind her.
'Hello I'm doctor Jane Reynolds. I'll be checking your wounds' She said and the start checking.
I had 14 stitches, a busted lip and a cast on my palm.
After 30 minutes later, I went back to room 699.
Nick and AJ was in deep conversation when I came in.

'Hey babes' I greeted and kiss AJ's cheek and Nick's lips.
I sat between AJ and Nick.
'So how did you do?' Nick asked. I giggled.
'14 stitches and i got a cast' I laughed and Nick and AJ grinned.
'Did they find Joe yet?' I asked. Then the whole mood in the room turned gloomy.
'No' Nick replied quietly.
'It's all my fault' I said and a single tear rolled down my cheek.
'No, it wasn't. Please, this is not your fault' Nick said. He wiped the tear off my cheek.
I sniffed.
'If I didn't say yes to go out with him that night. We would be far away from Malibu and this won't be happening' I sobbed and wipe my tears furiously.
'It's not your fault. We've been horrible to you when we didn't even pay the slightest attention to you. It's our fault to blame. No scratch that. It was mine for being so wrapped up by jealousy that these things happened to you' Nick said.
'Jealous? That's why you didn't speak to me?' I asked. What an amazing discovery!
'Yes, I was jealous of Joe that I was so caught up to stay away from you. I forgave you for what you did all those weeks ago but I didn't dare to walk up to you and said that' Nick said.
I sniffed and hugged him.
'You guys are gross.... will you please don't hug in front of me?' AJ said. Destroying our moment.
I glared at him and huffed.

~Christmas Preparation~
* 12.15.2008*
I was shopping alone for Christmas. Nick and I still haven't acknowledge each other since the dance. I feel so guilty and it's actually driving everyone insane including me.
Alan won't even speak to me and ignored me.
AJ just smiled every time I passed him at the hallway.
Savvy is giving a ticket to the insane dimension for not being the sister I hoped she would.
Joe was being super friendly and always help me since no one is talking.
Kevin would come over to hang out with Alan and totally ignored me.
Well Nick, he avoids me.
I don't blame anyone for this but I've hoped that they would forgive me.
Especially Nick.
I was at San Diego Fashion Mall.
Families was everywhere, shopping for their Christmas's presents.
I was looking for Alan's present and I knew he wanted the new Rolex watch.
I walked into Rolex and looked through at the watches to see if any of it matches Alan's present.
I saw the one that I know Alan would love to have.
I told the sales person to wrapped it up.
The watch costs me $575 and I hope he would love it cause it cost me a lot.
I grabbed the bag and went outside.
I decided to go for another round to see if I found anything interesting for AJ.
I saw an amazing skate shop that I never thought existed.
I got in and there was tons of the coolest skate boards, a section for beginners and pros.
I was doing a survey on a skateboard that had a guitar and skaters for life graffiti underneath it, when someone jumped on me and tackle me.
I kicked his stomach and got up to find Joe doubled over.
I bit my lip and helped him up.
'I'm so sorry! You shouldn't have done that!' I said and Joe laughed.
'It's okay. So, what are you doing?' Joe asked.
'Just doing a survey for AJ's present' I replied.
'You're going to get him a skateboard?' Joe asked.
'You've totally forgotten that AJ and I are skaters. Have you?'
'Yeah, that way I would still recognize you as a girl instead of a boy' Joe replied and I hit him.
'Thanks Joe. Very nice' I said and decided to buy the skateboard for him. I went over to the wheels and safety section.
I was checking a ruby colored wheels and read the description.
Joe stood beside me and fold his arms.
'So, have you surveyed your own present yet?' Joe asked and leaned on the shelf.
'Why should I survey on my own present?' I asked and moving on to a neon green wheels.
'I don't know...formakingeveryoneeasiertoknowwhatyouwantforchristmas....yeah' Joe said.
'Not going to happen, big boy' I said and hit his chest twice.
He groaned and followed me as I went to the customizing counter.
'How did you ever figure that out?' He asked. I shrugged.
'How much is for customizing?' I asked.
'Depends on the design and size' A guy in a green hoodie.
'It is possible to get a customize skateboard?' I asked. The guy took out a sketch book and a pen.
'Anywhere else it would be impossible but you found the right place. We can guarantee that your skateboard will be done in 2 days' He replied. He pushed the sketch book and the pen in front of me.
'Thanks' I said and began to draw Gabby and him together with his initial and Gabby's.
Once I'm done, I give it to the guy.
'Okay. Pick the accessories for the board, board's pane and I will be right back with you' He said and went into a room at the back.
I was looking at samples and Joe kept following me.
'Joseph, is there any reason that you're here at all?' I asked, annoyed.
'I was just getting Alan the Rolex watch he wanted. There was only one left' Joe explained.
I turned to him.
'Now I know why I can't find it. Anyways shouldn't I be the one to get Alan that present?' I asked angrily. I spent the whole morning looking for that bloody watch all over the city and he bought it.
'It wasn't written in the Jonas book of law' Joe said and I rolled my eyes. He's quoting his own script. How nice is that?
'Well its written in mine. So, how much did you pay for it?' I asked and was about to take out my purse when he put his palm up. 'Tsk tsk... I don't bribe with money. Well especially with you' Joe replied.
I raised my eyebrows and fold my arms.
'Then? What is it you want?' I asked. He smirked and bit his bottom lip.
'Go out on a date with me' Joe said and my jaw dropped.
'A date? Is there any poss-'
'No. No date no watch' Joe said with an evil smirk on his face. I dropped my head and sighed.
'A date for a watch? Are you sure you don't want to double triple the price?' I asked trying to persuade him. He shook his head and I groaned.
'I don't want your money. I want you and I on a romantic night out by the beach' Joe said. He was grinning so much that it could've been the size of Jupiter by now.
'A date...a date... a romantic night out by the beach..? I don't know' I said finally.
He took the watch and I glared at him.
'Look at this nice gold watch. Limited Edition and timeless. Alan would be so disappointed if he doesn't have this for Christmas' Joe said and showed me the watch.
I grabbed it and hit Joe with my bags.
'OW!'
'Are you trying to torture me Joe? He already hates me after what I did at the dance. I don't want him to hates me more just because he can't have this watch!' I said angrily and Joe's eyes widen.
'Then go out on a date with me. Just you and I and no one else' Joe said.
I tilted my head to the side and groaned.
'FINE!!! But I better have the watch by the end of the date. Also, no one must know about this!' I said, giving up. There's no way I can bribe Joe to give me the watch except going out on a date with him.
The guy returned and gave me a receipt.
'So found anything yet, sweetheart?' He asked.
I showed him all the things I wanted for the skateboard.
He wrote all of it down in the receipt and give it to me.
'So the board will be ready in two days' He said and I waved and left.
Joe was still tagging behind me.
'So, I'll pick you up around.. 7.30?' Joe said.
'Okay but I'm not dressing up!' I said and turn around and waved at him.
'DAMN IT! I was hoping you would!' Joe shouted.
'NOT HAPPENING!' I shouted back and remembered that I didn't have a ride.
'HEY JOE!' I shouted. He was walking away but then he turned around and ran towards me.
'Yeah!' He asked,beaming.
'Can you give me a ride home?' I asked.
'I thought you're 16' He said.
'I will dress up if you send me home' I said and he took my hand. He was running with me behind him to his mercedes.
* Before the date*
I was rummaging through my closet to find a decent piece of clothing that would live up Joe's expectations. I finally found a white dress with a black ribbon on the hips.
I don't think I own that dress at all but it was the most decent clothing for the date.
I found a pair of white heels that I don't remember owning it too.
I put on the dress and the shoes.
I took out my make-up bag and took my waterproof mascara, pink lipstick and a blusher.
After I done, I took the curly iron and start doing my hair.
Once I'm done, I look at myself in my long mirror and I looked pretty good. I heard the bell rings and I grabbed my purse. I ran downstairs and grabbed Joe's hand.
I was scared that Alan or AJ would open the door.
'So..?' Joe said breaking the awkward silence.
'Anyways... where are you taking me?'
'Malibu'
'I see..'
'I hope you like seafood' Joe said and park his mercedes.
'I'll eat anything' I said and he hold my hands.
I glance down and wanted to let go but he was holding it tightly.
More of a death grip.
* AJ p.o.v*
I was about to get the door when I heard the bell rings but I heard Alex's bedroom door opens and her running downstairs. So, I didn't bother. When I heard the front door slam shut,
I decided to look out my window and saw Alexis wore a dress that Nick secretly put inside her wardrobe for their next "surprise" date.
My jaw dropped when I saw that she was dragging Joe back into his car.
I ran to my bed to get my phone and tripped over my stool.
'Ow! Got it!' I said and press speed dial.
'Yo Nick'
'Oh hey stranger'
'Where is Joe?'
'He said he had to go somewhere'
'Hmm.. jesus christ...'
'I don't like this. What's happening?'
'I don't know how to break it up to you but Joe is out with Alexis!'
'WHAT?! Joe is out with my GIRLFRIEND??'
'Yes! Haven't you realize lately that Joe has been so close to her when we weren't talking to her?'
'GOD! I've been such a jackass! That wouldn't happened if I didn't give her the silence treatment! DAMN IT!'

I hang up and put on a black leather jacket, black skinny and grey vans.
I grabbed the house keys, my phone, my camera bag and my messenger bag.
'Alexis, you are so going to get it' I said and went downstairs.
Mum was at the living room with dad. Making out.
'Bye!' I said and the both of them stopped.
Nick stopped at the front gate. I got in and smiled at him.
He didn't smile back. Instead he was fuming.
'Dude, you're okay?' I asked.
'MY GIRLFRIEND IS GOING ON A DATE WITH MY BROTHER! HOW CAN I BE OKAY!?' Nick replied angrily.
* Alex pov*
The both of us got a table and sat down.
The waitress gave us menus and was looking at Joe with stars in her eyes.
I rolled my eyes and bit my lip.
'I'll have lobster with Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, smoked salmon, tiramisu and tropical juice' I said.
Joe looked up at the menu and looking at me weirdly.
Even the waitress is looking at me as if I was joking.
'You got a problem?!' I asked. She shook her head and took down everything I said.
'I'll have fettuccine with meatballs, shark fin soup, americano cake and carrot juice' Joe ordered. She walked away and looked at me.
'So, wanna make out and leave?'
'WHAT?' I shouted. Has Joe gone insane? I have a boyfriend and its Nick Jonas.
'Cmon, my lips are irresistible. Tons of girls want me you know' He said and lick his lips.
'Joe, Joseph Adam! Are you sane right now? Do you even listen to what you just said? I have a boyfriend and I'm staying faithful with him'
' You are so immature ' Joe said and grinned.
'Immature? How bout you? Look at you right now! Its pathetic' I said angrily.
How could he call me immature.
I'm acting more mature than him right now.
This is not exactly the Joe I know.
'Chillax Alexis. I'm just teasing you' He said in a weird mysterious voice.
I shook my head and realize that its definitely not the Joe I know.
'Joseph, did you do something funny before we left for the date?' I asked.
He's seriously out of his mind right now and obviously not thinking straight.
He laughed and smirked.
'Sweety, I only had a couple of chocolate bars. I'm perfectly fine!' Joe replied.
I rolled my eyes and saw my lobster.
I was starving especially when I'm arguing with Joey the craziee hyper jonas.
The waitress set my order and Joe's.
I start to eat the lobster and avoiding Joe's stare. It was becoming a problem after a good 10 minutes.
I look up and glared at him.
'Joseph, its rude to stare at someone when they're eating' I scolded him.
I was beyond annoyed.
He just grinned.
'Well, its because you look so gorgeous tonight and you did it for me' Joe said.
'That's because this is the only decent thing for me to wear on this date' I said and looked outside the window.
I thought I saw AJ and Nick.
I tilted my head and look closely. It sure does look like Nick's curls and AJ's brown hair with his infamous purple highlights.
Someone is here tonight. How great is that?
Maybe its not them.
I shrugged and look back at Joe.
He took his fettuccine on paste it on his mustache.
He was making a face and I was really annoyed so I snatched the fettuccine.
I shook my head.
Joe suddenly wrapped his hand on mine.
I looked at it and let go.
'Joe, I think I need to go out for awhile. Yeah' I said and snatched my bag.
I took out a long black cardigan and wore it over my dress.
It was really cold.
I pass by a bush that didn't even look real.
And I swore it was moving.
Wait...moving?
I looked at the corner of my eye that it was following me.
I think I saw Nick's curls and AJ's purple highlights.
So, they are stalking me.
Nick is stalking me? He still cared about me?
I decided to go by the shoreline and see if it moved away from there.
I took out my heels and hold them by the strap.
It was really dark and I couldn't see anything so much.
But the bush seriously moved closer to the shoreline.
It's definitely Nick and AJ.
The bush got closer to me and suddenly there was a scream.
I jumped in shock and saw Nick stumbled.
We both got into the water and I was screaming cause it was dead freezing.
I felt the wave were drifting the both of us far away from the shore.
I managed to go up surface and saw the waves dragged us at least 20 feet away.
Nick resurfaced and wrapped his arm around my waists.
'I love you, Alexis and I was such an idiot for what I did!' Nick said.
'I love you too Nick but umm.. we're in the ocean and I'm freezing!' I said and my body just received an amazing cold shock.
'Umm... why is the shore getting further away from us?' Nick asked.
'Why are we being pulled back?!' I asked in shocked.
I tried to swim forward but the current was to strong.
'Nick?!? What's happening?!' I shouted.
'Just hold on to me!' He said and the current kept pulling us further.
'This is not a tsunami right?'
'Why would you say that?' Nick asked, he was frightened as I was.
'Its pulling us away from the shore!' I shouted.
