Winter Dance

It was 4th of December and the school is buzzing with the Winter Dance.
Asking out for dates and stuff.
I wasn't looking forward to it but looking at Nick recently, he is excited than anyone in school.
I saw a group of girls giggling and whispering about who they should ask out.
I rolled my eyes until I heard Nick's name in the conversation.

'Who wants to ask Nick out?' a blonde chick asked her friends.
I followed behind them.
'I do...his hair is so gorgeous. I so need to touch those curls!' A red head said.
I made a face and rolled my eyes.
'But have you heard, he got a new girlfriend but we don't know who' the blondie said.
Her friends gasped.
'Isn't she a skater? skaters and rock stars never blend'
'I know right! Totally out of style!'
I mouthed "style?" I shook my head.
'She needs a reality check. Who ever she is. C'mon Nick Jonas and a skater?! That is so not realistic. I always thought Nick would go for girls like me'
I mimic vomit behind them.
'Yeah, I know right! Its always rock stars and girls like us!'
'So let's ask Nick out together'
'Totally. Handshake?'
'Handshake. BITCHES! HELL YEAH!' They all said at once.

They all breakout to every directions.
'They realize that they are bitches. Wow' I said, shaking my head.
Then I saw Joe.
'Joe! I got a new idea who to prank!' I said.
'Cool, who is it?' Joe asked as he slip his book bag.
'There's this bunch of girls who goes by the handshake Bitches and hell yeah' I replied.
'Okay, what is it about?'
'They want Nick to be their date for the Winter Dance. So we need to find Nick and fast!'
'I just saw him at the auditorium. Decorating but we have to go fast'
'Then let's go!' I said and grabbed Joe.

We ran to the auditorium and I tackled Nick when I saw him decorating a table lamp.
'Ow... have you ever thought about joining the girl's football team?!' Nick asked.
'Wanna prank someone or rather a group of bitches?' I asked back.
'Sure but why?' Nick asked and glue a snow flake on the lamp using the hot glue gun.
'They all want to ask you out at once. I just want to show them whose boss' I replied. I leaned at the work table and picked up a snow flake.
'I think someone is jealous!' Joe chipped. I glared at him and hit him.
'I'm not jealous! I'm just teaching them how getting dump feels like' I said and start helping Nick glue the snow flakes.
'Whatever. I still think it's jealousy!' Joe said and I rolled my eyes.
'I'm in. Anyways I have to finish decorating the tables then I'm free' Nick said.
'I'll help you! Who knows if those girls suddenly appear here' I said and took the finished lamp onto a table.

~ 16.25, Auditorium~

We finally finished arranging the tables and was about to clean up when the bitches came in.
They were giggling and pushing each other to go first.
I motioned it to Nick.
'Hello girls'
'Hi Nick' They said dreamily.
'What are you guys doing here?'
'We were wondering if you would to take us to the Winter Dance' The blondie asked.
'Sure, I would love too but I'm going with a troll so no thanks' Nick replied.
I glared at him when he called me a troll.
The girls whined.
'But Nicky you have to!' The red head said.
'One, no one calls me Nicky and two, I'm taken' Nick said.
The girls gasped as if its a big deal.
'Tell us with who?!?'
'Google the winner of the last Winter X Games Women under 18 snow boarding then you'll know'
'How do we use google?' the blondie asked.
My jaw literally dropped.
'Uhh... just try and find her..see you' Nick said and point the exit.
The girls sighed in defeat and walked as if it was a cat walk.

The door closed and I burst out laughing.
'How do we use google?! That's the most retarded question ever!' I laughed.
Nick laughed and shook his head.
'I know right! They are such a bimbo... never thought I lived to see that day comes' Nick said.
'And... you called me a troll?' I asked, remembering the conversation.
Nick rubbed his neck nervously.
I put my hands on my hip. Furious.
'Yeah, I was just making sure that they won't know it's you' Nick explained.
I shook my head and went to him. I hit him.
'I guess I deserved that' Nick mumbled.
I gave him a kiss.
'And this' I smiled. Nick shook his head.

~ At home~

I closed the convo and pretend to send an email.
Alan knock on the door and I turn around.
Alan looked over at my bed and saw tons of woman magazine.
'Uhh... are you reading woman's magazine?' Alan asked.
'No, AJ was in here' I lied.
'Why would AJ read woman's magazine?'
'You tell me' I replied and continue sending an email.
I was ordering a hand bag from Chanel.
Alan peeped and gasped.
'A handbag?!? WHO ARE YOU?!' Alan shouted and ran out of the door.
AJ came in looking totally confused.
'What's up with him?' He asked.
I shrugged and was looking through fashion catalogs online.
AJ sat on my bed and was looking through the magazines.
'What is this about? Woman's magazine. You are not even close to one' AJ said.
I picked up a book and threw it at him.
'I may not dress like one but I am a woman..well in this case a girl but still! I have feelings and needs' I shouted.
AJ winced and block using his hands.
'My baby sister is turning into a girl!! GET AWAY FROM ME!'AJ said and ran away like Alan did.
I shook my head and lock my door.

~Friday Afternoon~

Thank god Alan and AJ left for 3 Days Grace concert. It would leave me the time I need to get dressed for tonight's dance.
I was chatting with Ruth from the X Games, when the bell rings.
I ran downstairs and open the door to find Savvy and she was holding a dress.
Behind her was a stylist and make-up artist.
'Time to turn you into Cinderella!' Savvy said happily.
We all went into my room and set everything up.
Savvy hang my dress in front of my closet and unzip it.
It was the a simple white dress with various types of gems at the hem and a black ribbon at the waist.
'Omg, this is so gorgeous! Thank you so much!' I said and pick the dress up.
I put it in front of me and look at the mirror.
I was the most amazing dress I've ever seen.
I gave Savvy a hug and she pulled me into the bathroom to change.
I got out and her jaw dropped.
'Nick will be gobsmacked!' Savvy said. Did I forget to mention that Savvy is british?
After spending at least 2 1/2 hours getting ready.
We heard a car pull out and I peek outside.
It was Alan's white BMW.
'He's home!' I said and lock my bedroom door.
I heard his footsteps coming closer. He knocked on the door.

'Alex! We have guests!' Alan said.
'What? you have gas?!' I asked, playing around. Savvy, the stylist and the make-up artist laughed quietly.
'No, we have guests! They are downstairs' Alan replied.
'Your gas is downstairs? You're not making sense!'
'Just open the freaking door!' Alan shouted.
'I'm doing something'
'Is it about a handbag or something?'
'Pretty much?'
'Ok, bye see ya!'

We heard him walking downstairs.
I called Nick on my cell phone.

'Hey Nick'
'Sup?'
'What time are you going to pick me up?'
'I'll be there in half and hour'
'Ok then'
'You must look hot..right?'
'Me? yeah right! I'm wearing a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Hello, I don't wear dresses!'
'Can't you act like a girl for once?'
'No'
'Not even on her big day?'
'No'
'Not even for me?'
'We'll talk about this later sweetheart'
'I was hoping you would dress-up'
'More like dress-down'
'GOD DAMN BE A FREAKING GIRL!'
'Nah, being a girl sucks!'
'Are you on steroids all this while? Am I dating a girl whose been on steroids for so long?!'
'Me? Uhh... not that I can recall'
'Are you on ecstasy?!'
'I don't take drugs!'
'Who knows its Winter Dance..'
'See ya...'
'Love ya'
'Loving is so not caring!'
'Whatever'

I hang up and took my new Chanel clutch and Savvy brush of fake dusts on my shoulders.
'You look so GORGEOUS!!'
'Thank you so much for what you've done! I don't know how to repay you!'
'You can tell me when you founds out that Alan is buying me a lambo'
'Sure thing' I said and I heard a car door slammed.
I run to take a look and saw Nick with his tux.
'Make sure AJ and Alan stays in the house' I said and open the door.
Nick was getting up the stairs when he saw me.
'What happens to dress-down?' Nick asked looking at me.
'I'm going to let it slide one time' I replied.
He held out his hand and I took it.

Alan was in the living room. He saw Nick and came over.
He turn around and saw me.
'OMG!! This is what you've doing?!?' Alan asked.
'Pretty much' I replied.
'You look so beautiful...I bet Savvy is here...am I right?' Alan asked.
I sighed in defeat.
'SAVVY!' I called and she came down.
'Hi Alan' Savvy greeted. Alan ran to her and gave her a kiss.
'Let me guess, you helped Alex?'
'Well, every girl needs a fairy god mother to turn her into a Cinderella' Savvy replied.
'Wait, let me get the camera!' Alan said and ran to his room to get his cam.
'You tricked me...' Nick said. I turn to him.
'So? I wanted to surprise you' I said and play with his curls.
He smiled and gave me a passionate kiss.
Alan came down and stopped half-way when he saw that we were kissing.

When we let go, Alan made us kiss us again so he can take a picture of us kissing.
Then he wanted us holding each other. After 20 minutes later, he's done and satisfied with the pictures.
'Nick, take care of my baby sister' Alan said. Nick nodded.
I gave Savvy a signal and she nodded.
Nick opened my door and I got in.
He turn the stereo on and When you look me in the Eyes came up.
'This is one of the greatest song you've ever wrote!' I said and Nick smiled.
'Got that a lot' Nick said and I rolled my eyes.
We reached to the school's parking lot and got out.
I hold Nick's arm and went in. We showed our tickets and enter.

Everyone looked at us and I just kept smiling. I saw the girls that asked Nick out.
They were glaring at me. I ignored them and Nick led me to the refreshment table.
'This is totally cool. You are so lucky to be able to work on the commitee' I said.
'It is, I wasn't sure about the end result but it turned out awesome' He said and gave me a kiss.
'Everybody must hate me for this' I said and Nick looked at me confused.
'Why? Cause you're dating one of the Jonas?' he asked. I nodded.
'Let's dance and show them that if they want a piece of me, they have to have a piece of you too' He said.
We went to the dance floor and Don't stop the music was playing.
Nick was no dancer. That's for sure. He was making fun the whole time.
I decided to make a dance off with him. It's obvious that I win.
Then the next song played, it was 1234 by Plain White t's. Couples start to get do a slow dance.
'Oh no, I hate this dance' Nick said. I laughed.
'Why?' I asked.
'Not good at dancing remember?' Nick replied. I took his hand and put them on my waists and the other on my left hand.
'Follow me then' I said and start dancing.
Nick was nervous. He kept stepping on my foot but I forgive him.
'I have a surprise for you later' Nick said and I looked at him.
'what is it?' I asked.
'It's a surprise! I can't tell you' Nick said and I scoffed.
'Better be good' I said and put my head on his shoulder.
Then the song changed into Glenn Lewis Fall Again.
More couples were coming into the dance floor.
'Let's go. I need something to drink' Nick said and took my hand to the refreshment table.
He gave me a cup and I fill punch in it.
I saw Joe walking towards us with a guitar.
'Let's go. It's time' Joe said and threw the guitar at Nick.
Nick glared at him. He smiled at me and gave me a kiss.
'I'll be right back' Nick said and went out of the auditorium.

I saw the group of bitches walking towards me.
I rolled my eyes and fold my arms.
'So you're dating Nick? The new girl is dating Nick?' The blondie asked.
I sighed and put my hands on my hips.
'So? I'm dating Nick. You have a problem with that?' I asked.
All the girls cross their arms and glared at me.
'Yeah, he's not for you! He belongs us and you can take him' She said.
I laughed at their pathetic statement.
'He's not a freaking doll. He's not the type to be played by a girl and pretend it didn't hurt him. He doesn't belong to anyone except his family and I don't like it when you think he would date a girl like you. An ugly bitch like you all' I fought. The girls gasped and pulled my hair.
Once they let go. I gain my balance and pushed her.
'NO ONE PULLS MY HAIR BITCH!' I shouted and dropped my bag on the table.
'Opps... I just did' She said. I glared at her and draw up a fist.
'ITS ON!!!' I said and punched her.

Everyone around us start to draw a circle around us.
She tried to recover but then cried when her heel broke.
'HAVE YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND THESE HEELS?!?' She shouted.
'No, but I think you just scarred your daddy's bank account with those jewelries' I replied with a mischievous grin.
Everyone "Oooo" at my comment.
'At least my daddy is richer than you!' She yelled and grin.
'At least he doesn't spoil me and be treated like a princess' I fought back.
She rolled her eyes.
'You're just jealous!'
'ME? JEALOUS?! PUR-LEASE! AHH, CUT THE BULL' I said and hit her.
I thought I heard something torn but didn't care less.
Everyone kept chanting my name and her friends were shrieking.

It went on for about 15 minutes until AJ came and broke it up.
'That's enough! Alexis, BREAK IT OFF!!!' AJ shouted and pull me by my waist.
I fell on top of AJ and punched his face.
He restrained me and I took my bag angrily.
'Are you mad?! I've seen you beat a 21 year old before but this?!? Have you gone completely insane!? Have you had any idea what you just did?' AJ shouted at me like Alan would if I did something completely ridiculous.
'No, AJ I have no clue so why don't you tell me!?' I shouted. AJ glared at me and shook his head.
'You just tore you own freaking dress! Savvy made that for you! You don't feel the need to appericiate it. Alexis, I don't mind if you want to fight for Nick or Dad but next time be careful with what you were given' AJ said and walk away.
The lights gone dimmer and I looked at the stage.

'Ladies and gentlemen! The Jonas Brothers have a special song for a special someone. So give it up for the JONAS BROTHERS!' The announcer said.
Everyone cheered and clapped.
Nick saw me and was surprised to see me with a torn dress.

He was glaring at me and shook his head.
I looked away and as the song finished. Nick walked off stage.
I rubbed my arm feeling totally guilty.
He walked up to me.
'What happened?! I came out and you're like this? What did you do? Create a freaking riot?! Are you mad Alexis? Have you finally lost you mind?' Nick shouted.
Everyone started to stare at us.
Kevin and Joe was standing on stage, shocked.
'What am I? 12? You think I can't take care of myself?' I shouted at him.
'I know you can take of yourself its about what you do in the process that scares the living shit out of me! This is one of the great examples, Alexis. I left you for awhile and this happens. You fight with girls luckily it wasn't boys or the whole dance will be called off! I worked so hard to make it a special night and this is what I get?' Nick said angrily.
I looked at the ground.
'I can't even look at you at all! I'm leaving. Thanks for ruining my special night' Nick said and left.
The whole auditorium was silent. AJ came over and dragged me to the car park.

'I thought that you would at least control yourself out there. What you did was childish' AJ said and lean on the car.
'I know I messed up. BIG TIME okay! Can we just go home?' I said, choking every words.
AJ unlock the car and I sat at the front.
Once AJ pulled up at the driveway, I got out and enter the house.
Alan was laughing with Savvy until he saw me.
AJ got in and shrugged.
Alan hit his head on the couch.
'I'll talk to her' Savvy said.

I slammed my bedroom door and threw my handbag on the floor.
I took out all the hair pins and wipe off the make-up.
I took off the dress and threw it at my trash can.
I wore a red hoodie and a pair of black shorts.
Someone knocked on the door and Savvy came in.
She sat in front of me and I looked away.
Ashamed that I destroyed her dress.

'Alexis, I know that its really hard for you cause you've always been one of the guys but all Nick asked was a night where you will be one of the girls' Savvy said.
I glared at her and give her get-to-the-point look.
'Nick won't get mad with you forever. We both know that he will forgive and forget' Savvy said.
I hugged my legs and put my chin on my knee.
'I don't know... I hurt him pretty bad. He's the first guy that I ever felt safe and I love him so much but I don't think I can ever forgive myself for what I did. Savvy, you haven't seen him before the Winter Dance, he was so excited about it and I screwed up big time' I said.
Savvy just smiled and rubbed my hands.
'Alexis, we are built to make mistakes. We may hurt people along the way but that's how we learned from our mistakes. There will be times when everything is in order but maybe it wasn't meant for tonight' Savvy said in a low voice.
'I just need to let it sink in for a few days I guess' I said, sadly.
'That's my girl'
'And Sav, sorry about the dress' I apologized.
She chuckled and messed up my hair.
'I have more for you but I think I'll make it tear-proof so when you get into anymore fights, your dress won't tear down' Savvy said and left.

I sighed and watched MTV.
Jonas Brothers was playing and I just watched Nick as he did a stunt at the Burning Up video.
I toss my remote control beside me and decided to sing along.
I jumped off my bed and start to dance and sing along.

Once the video is over, I picked up my guitar and my notebook along with my pen.
I sat on my couch and start playing G and Am7 chords.

I sighed and put my guitar on the stand. I make sure my book is safely hidden away.
I closed the TV and the lights.
I checked my phone in case if Nick called but there was no messages or missed calls from anyone.
I toss my phone away and fell asleep.
